Automate Everyday Tasks To Become More Efficient
If you're an entrepreneur, salesperson or business owner you might have heard a few things about automation. Grant Cardone says if something is worth doing, it's worth doing every day. Otherwise, automate it.
What are some things that we waste valuable time on frequently? How can we automate it once and reap the rewards without losing quality?
Your calendar. How many times have you said "let me check my schedule"? Or had to play phone tag to book down a time where everyone was free?
I use a tool called Calendly to book all my appointments. It integrates directly to my website so clients and prospects can find a time that we're both free and skip the "why don't you get with my secretary" conversation.
Not only does it allow easy access for mutually convenient meetings, it sends confirmation emails and reminders automatically. Set it up once and put it in your email signature to buy back minutes every day. Those minutes that were wasted everyday for years are now yours to do what you please from here out with calendly.
Emails. Tired of sending the same reply to a common question? Write a general template and save it as an email signature. Minor details such as name or subject might need to be tweaked. But if you're answering the same question more than once a week, spending the time to create a time saving template is a must.
Text messages. If you see any similarities from the emails section, there's ways to automate your text messages as well. Check out this neat tip by sales stud Ryan Stewman
If pressing two keys and having a follow up text template is something that might benefit you, apply this concept.
While on the subject of texting, you can even copy and paste templates from your computer. I use Google voice to utilize this feature because sometimes it's faster to type a paragraph on a keyboard.
Automatic text replies. Okay so you might not be a master at Google voice. That's okay, this article will help you get there and beat father time: How to build an SMS text auto-responder
Setting up a text reply via gmail to SMS is a great way to reverse a free opt in message. You don't want to pay for an auto responder do you? Why not use this free tool that the good folks that built the Google Machine have provided?
Email campaigns. "I got a list, here's the order of my list that it's in

So you've got prospects in an XLS format. A click funnel campaign or Facebook prospect entry. A Google form. Any excel spreadsheet containing names and email addresses will work.
Whether it's a monthly newsletter or sales pitch, a simple mail merge can go a long way.
If you're above average you'll utilize the free or paid services from companies like MailChimp to get your first campaign setup.
Lead generation. I'll refer to the champ as needed. Russell Brunson has created a cult following of online lead generation. Forget knocking doors, cold calling or any of that outdated hunter gatherer methods of the past. Today, customers come to you. Not only that, if you're not getting qualified customers, you need this. Click Funnels has campaign templates to kick start your online business, gather a massive prospect list and funnel the serious and qualified buyers to the bottom of the funnel.
Your online trading. Okay maybe you're not Warren Buffett but you like to play the market. Save valuable time and look at those dim backup candle pattern only after you get an alert. I personally use THINK OR SWIM and Trading View to get these alerts as a text or push notification in real time.

Videos. This goes along with email and text. Why not say it once and let it be heard forever. Customers and clients don't pay for the product, they pay for you. Your time is valuable. Once you learn to duplicate yourself like millionaire Howie Danzik says, you'll be able to create an abundance of residual income.
